Swimming Pool Rice Krispies Treats

We came up with these fun Swimming Pool Rice Krispies Treats today & they are SO easy to make!  The kids can help make these & my boys thought these were awesome. They would be so cute to bring a long to a pool party or just a fun summer treat for the kids!

Swimming Pool Rice Krispies Treats

Rice Krispies Treats
Pillsbury Blue Frosting
Wilton Blue Gel Icing
Wilton White Candy Strips
Red, Green, & Yellow Edible Marker
1 Rips Candy Strip
Sweetworks White Pearl Candies

Start out by cutting the Rice Krispies Treats a little more than half way using a knife....

Cut out a square shape from the top piece...

Place that piece on top & then fill with the blue frosting...

I caught this little guy sneaking licks!

Top with the blue gel icing. You could just use the blue frosting, but we think the gel looks more like water...

Cut the white candy strips to fit on top using kitchen scissors...

Cut a small piece from a red Rips candy strip & then another tiny piece to add on top to look like a pool float...

Draw on some lines on the white candy pearl to look like a beach ball...

Place the candies on top & now you have a Swimming Pool Rice Krisipes Treat!

We had so much fun making these & they seriously take just a few minutes to make...

You can get blue Pillsbury frosting in most grocery stores. The Wilton blue gel & white candy strips are sold at crafts stores.

My boys said that these not only look super fun, but they taste fantastic!:)

  1. Such a fun summer treat, and so easy for the kids to make. I'd like to be on one of those rafts right now just floating around in the water. Ahh, that sounds nice:)

  2. I love using sparkle gel and using it in this project makes it really look like water! Perfect for a pool party, now if only I had a pool...

    1. It does look just like water. I added the gel just on top thinking the kids wouldn't want to eat a lot of it, but they loved it & would have been happy eating all of it!
