Turkey Turkey Burger Ideas

We made another version of Turkey Turkey Burgers this year and came up with these cute little guys using sweet potato fries for feathers. Just a fun and quick dinner or lunch to make the kids around Thanksgiving time!

Turkey Turkey Burgers
(makes 2)

2 Turkey Burgers (we like Jennie-O)
3 Hamburger Buns
2 Slices of American or Cheddar Cheese
4 Edible Eyes
Ketchup
Sweet Potato Fries (we like Alexia)

Make the turkey burgers in a pan. Cut a couple of edges off of the cheese and then place the cheese on the burgers.  Cut out feet and a beak from the cheese scraps.  Place the burgers on the buns. Place on the top bun. Cut a extra bun in half and cut one half into 2 circles for the head. Cut the other half into wings. Place the head on top and the wings on the sides.  We made sweet potato fries and cut them in half. We pressed them  on the top back side to look like wings. We placed on edible eyes and squeezed on ketchup to make the wattle.

This is also a great way to get the kids in the kitchen to create their own Turkey Turkey Burger

This is our Turkey Turkey Burger from last year...
