Puppy Pancakes..woof woof!

We made these Puppy Pancakes this weekend and they are SO easy to make!  My boys loved them!  We used pancake mix, mini chocolate chips, 1 dark grape, 1 strawberry, & whipped cream spray.

Start out by making 2 round pancakes for the head and the bones on low heat. Place one pancake on the plate and cut the other pancake in half.  We have a bone cookie cutter and cut out the pancake halves with that.  You can also just shape them by cutting with kitchen scissors.  Make another regular size pancake for the ears and a small pancake for the nose.  Make these a bit darker.  Cut the regular sized pancake in half and place on the top of the head for the ears.  Place the smaller pancake on the face for the nose.  You can clean up the edges with your kitchen scissors.  Decorate the face with the mini chocolate chips, a grape (cut in half), and cut up a strawberry for the tongue.

We hope that all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

  5. These are so cute! My boys love pancakes. Every time my 2 year old says a pray throughout the day, he always blesses the pancakes. He also loves dogs so this would probably make his day! :) I would love for you to share this at my link party
