Kitchen Fun and Crafty Friday Link Party #5 & a Sugarlicious Giveaway for our 1 Year Anniversary!

Today is our 1 year anniversary...this kind of snuck up on us. I just realized this a couple of days ago. We wanted to celebrate with a Giveaway of one of our favorite cookbooks...SUGARLICIOUS! This is Meaghan Mountford's book and has been such a great support to us from the beginning.

When we first started our blog I had no idea what I was doing and never thought people would like our stuff this much. It really was to show family and friends what we were up to. I had never even looked at blogs until just a couple of months before we started ours. I remember visiting Craft Gossip just before we started and thinking wow...wouldn't it be cool to have something featured on that site...it's so fun! We sent in our Phineas and Ferb cakes to Meaghan who handles the edible crafts on Craft Gossip. We never thought anything would happen and I remember how excited we were when she shared our cakes! It just gave us a real boost of confidence that other people might get some fun ideas from us!

We have been making fun food for a long time and we have had so much fun sharing our ideas with everyone this past year. I was looking back on our creations today from the past year and it almost brings me to tears thinking of how much fun I have had with my boys creating and sharing this with them. I really encourage any of you to get in the kitchen and create with your kids...it's such a special thing for us and creates so many fun memories!

I am sure I will be adding more of these when I think of them. We are so grateful and appreciate all of your support...along with all of our awesome followers! We never thought that this would open up so many doors for us. We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year and we are so happy that so many of you have enjoyed our fun food!
